![]() ![]() Then the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter has got you covered. ![]() So if you want to rock your inner JLO, and GLOW. The skin appears healthy, it lifts and illuminates it in a natural and flawless way. The product creates the perfect canvas to help enhance and improve the appearance of your complexion. However you choose to use this product, you will see a visible improvement to the skins appearance. You could leave it at that or if you are feeling extra snazzy, add a little powder highlight over. It adds a beautiful natural glow to these areas. To add an extra oomph to my highlight i add a little to my ring finger and lightly dab over the top of my cheeks, down my nose, across my brow bone, chin and the middle of my upper lip. I then use a light coverage foundation over, to create a medium/heavy coverage. This product helps to blur fine lines, and help my skin appear healthy and glowy. I have fine lines across my forehead, redness and acne scarring. If i am after a more heavy coverage, be it for a night-out or a long day at the office. It’s such an easy product to use, and it has been my saving grace through this sickness period as Flawless Filter offers an extremely light coverage, evens skin tone and leaves the complexion looking dewy, even and radiant. I have been touching up any blemishes around my chin with a concealer, and my base has been good to go. I simply swipe a couple of times over my cheeks, chin, nose and forehead, and blend with a Real Techniques Buffing Brush. When i feel poorly, like most people, slapping on make-up is the last thing you want to do. I haven’t been too well, and my skin at the moment appears dull, pale and dry. I have used this product over the past week in replace of my foundation. There are also finally milled powders, these help create a soft focus making lines and pores appear smoother. It is infused with a glossy oil that is a light moisturising oil, and it helps to reflect and add light to your face. The product includes smoothing airbrush polymers that roll over your complexion to create a porless-looking and creamy finish. On the whole i use it as a primer as i like a medium coverage base, but I wanted to break down this review, as this product is a hybrid style product and it works in so many ways. It improves the appearance of my skins texture, and my complexion appears brighter and more luminous. When blended into the skin it appears as a light tinted base, and covers small and light imperfections. The product feels light like a serum, and spreads smoothly across the skin. If you are yet to try a CT foundation, then i would recommend a trip to a store and have a look and swatch of the shades. I opted for the shade 3 light/medium, as this is my shade in Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation.Īs the formula is quite sheer, i would advise you go with the shade you are in Charlotte Tilbury foundations. You unscrew the gold lid, and attached is a doe foot applicator. I would say you could use it as all three, dependant on you skin type. It can be used in many ways and in a nutshell, it claims to help you achieve that high-glow celebrity skin filter.īut is it a primer, foundation or highlighter? I must admit i was, but once you break it down. It’s described as a customisable complexion booster, that has the versatility of a face primer and also the mega-watt glow of a highlighter, with added perfecting properties of your favourite digital filter. You can build this up a little if you do want more coverage but for me it’s really a perfect “my skin but better” look.*Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter was a product that i was very intrigued by, to say the least. There is just enough coverage to even out the skin but not enough to fully cover any blemishes or dark spots or circles so what your left with is a very natural look. It doesn’t lay on it like makeup, it like melts in and leaves my my skin looking radiant yet still natural. I really can’t put my finger on what makes this different from my illuminating primers or other tinted mositurizers but there is something about how this sits on the skin. I was actually surprised at how much I liked how this looked on the skin. It’s very light coverage with a sheen that gives your skin a glow. At first, I was thinking this would be closer to shimmery primer but it’s more like a tinted moisturizer. This has a light whipped liquid consistency. The applicator is a large (very similar to the Tarte Shape Tape Applicator) so it’s great for dotting product all over the face. The bottle is glass and seems to be very thick and sturdy. ![]()
